Kentucky Pete

Lloyd, Tara, and I went to church at Lynn Grove last night to hear Pastor Pete. He and his wife Dora minister to a church in the desert.
I was amazed at how sincere he was and Tara was listening intently. Pastor Pete made a number of good comparisons in his message.
He talked about how tribes had Chiefs and that God was the ultimate Chief, that his dad had been terminally ill and he shared with him about how God was the Doctor that could heal him.
The one that I think would be good to use when ministering to children was about the cactus. The arms on the cactus are always upright reaching toward heaven. He said if the cactus could always have their "arms" uplifted to heaven when they are in the desert all day that how could he not have a good day.
Kentucky Pastor Pete has the love of the Lord in his heart and was a great inspiration to me.

Sock Monkey

Tara, Candee, Aleeah, and Tonya and I went out to Cheryl's last night to check out the "Woman Cave". She has organized all her crafting tools into one room, several containers, cabinets, and shelves. I have to say it looks awesome.
I worked last night on some cards for church. I'm really looking forward to using the Sock Monkey Stampin' Up stamp set.
My grandmother made me sock monkeys as a child, even the mini ones.
